JD 600 Series Roll

We offer both a standard 600 Series Rebuild as well as a much superior reconfigured model. This is available in either a sharp knife-edge or flat flute. This model has 100% inlayed chrome on all edges.

​Our improvements include adjusting from the stock 8-fluted roll to a 4-fluted roll. After modification, the four forward most flutes are elevated, allowing a similar interlocking pattern to the 40 or 90 Series Rolls. To ease the pulling process of the remaining 30% of the stalk, the 8 rear flutes are left stock. Each spiral is also professionally rebuilt. The two rear clean out's are chromed and machined to factory specs. All flutes are chrome edged for maximum durability.

JD 90 Series Knife Roll

As our largest seller , the 90 series knife roll is machined to the original factory specifications of 4.5" x 4.5". The edges are 100% chromed, not chrome-plated! Each spiral is rebuilt, then ground to the original specifications.

Certain features can be implemented for better feed and increased performance. Instead of the spiral ending between two flutes, increased efficiency can obtained if the spiral is shortened and matched up with the flute of the knife edge.

The standing record for wear is held by Althaus Brothers of Sublette, Illinois, with a total of 17,000 acres processed using an eight row head. As seen by the photos, the heads were still in good shape with only moderate wear.

JD 40 Series Standard Flat Flute

As our business was starting, the 40 Series Standard Flat Flute was the only roll we re-manufactured.

With our engineered taper of 4-4.5", the widened flutes of this roll can tear up the stalks with ease. The wide flutes grip the stalk, kinking then in one inch increments, leaving the stalk connected to the roots. If the farmer is operating on rolling hills or uneven surfaces, washing and floating away of stalks is drastically reduced.

The leading edge of this roll is outfitted with a chrome inlay for increased durability and performance.

JD 90 Series Flat Flute

The 90 Series Standard Flat Flute is very similar to the 40 series, with changes only to the dimensions (4.5" by 4.5" straight flute). Also, this roll utilizes two roll pins and a higher spiral.

Block and Guides

The hardest allowed material is used to remanufacture blocks and guides. Each model is reflowed, then machine-ground flush for top-of-the-line durability. We guarantee a better, more durable block and guide is not on the market.
Worn blocks and guides can damage gathering chains, rollers, idler teeth and drive sprockets. Utilize our rebuilt components for preventative maintenance and longevity.

​Deck Plates

Each deck plate is 100% chrome edged and machine planed for a straight edge.
​Utilizing as much chrome as possible, an outer edge is machined onto each deck plate. This rim acts as a barrier to keep kernels from falling through the snapping rolls.
